It is finally here, the Small World Coffee Love Show, and my Strawberry is up in the cafe for all to see! This year the show is supporting HiTops, a New Jersey organisation supporting adolescent well being. A very worthy cause.
Friday night was the opening night party. Despite the onset of Winter Storm Nemo, plenty of people came out to support HiTops, and when I arrived I was very happy that you can see my mosaic as you walk up to the cafe!
The weather claimed the booked in DJs who were forced to cancel, and so there were two volunteers (one of whom I believe is Chris Harford) doing a neat job with just the occasional issue of needle jumping on vinyl, but maybe that was deliberate.
Dancing was optional, and while it seemed the exclusive preserve of the Small World staff, I did get on the floor for a couple of tunes. There is a great set of photos from the show here.

I have donated the mosaic to the show, and have offered it for sale at $600. ALL of which will go to HiTops. It’s great for me to be showing in my local hang out, so I felt the least I can do is donate something in return. I made sure I had my photo taken with it while I was there.
If you are interested in the mosaic head on down to Small World and check it out for yourself.

Very nice Andre Veloux!
Why does my old WordPress blog pic still show up when I leave a comment? Weird..
